Clearly inspired by the art deco period, this resin-based sculpture was made by Lindsey B (Lindsey Balkweill) in the 1980s. It is equally tall and imposing (45cm high) and stands on a spun metal base. It is indistinctly signed on the back of the leg and has a few minor scuffs including to the peak of the cap. Lindsey B produced some stunning art deco designs in the 1980s and her work is much admired. This is the only cricketer we are aware of and it rarely appears on the market.
