Highly decorative linen handkerchief, c1880s (31cm x 31cm) in fine condition. This was made in Rhode Island, USA by the firm S H Greene & Sons. The firm was founded in 1828 and changed to this name in 1865 - they were known for their "Martha Washington" line of textiles and this is a good early example.
